IF A NATIONS VALUES AND IDENTITY WERE JUDGED BY ITS JUSTICE SYSTEM
WHAT WOULD OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM SAY ABOUT US AS A NATION ?
These are the profiles of individuals who all deserve a second chance at a lfe. All are nonviolent drug offenders sentenced to life without parole. All were sentenced by judges, who at the time, had no discretion in the sentences they imposed and felt the sentence was to harsh. They have been incarcerated for over 10 years (some 20 years), and have been denied in every appeal they have filed. The President has the ability, to now make the right choice, and grant these individuals a sentence that fits there crime by granting them clemency, or he can allow them to die in federal prison. Their sentence is a death sentence, no different than the death penalty. Unless the President of the United States, or congress, step in on there behalf they will spend the rest of there lives in prison.
You can write the President at this address, and ask him to grant clemency for. Michael Holmes, Altonio O'Shea Douglas, and Douglas Dunkins, Jr., Eva Atencio Palma, Josephine Ledesma and other's serving life for a non-violent drug crime.
